Bernadette Pino

Taos, NM

Bernadette Pino studied at the Institute of Eco Technics, Aix en Provence, France from 1976 to 1978,. As a continuation of these studies she  managed a construction project at the Hotel Vajra, Kathmandu, Nepal from 1978- to 982.

She then went to India where she studied with the renowned artist Manjit Bawa in New Delhi, India from 1986 - 1990. The studies were informal over a period of several years.

 

Solo exhibitions in Delhi:

  • Golf Links, 1991

  • American Cultural Center, 1992

 

Pino returned to the USA on December 23, 1992. She studied carving and catholic iconography with art restorer, Raul Goler of Ranchos De Taos, New Mexico. She participated in the annual Spanish Market in Santa Fe, New Mexico from 1995 to the present where she earned several awards. She also won awards at the Taos Fall Arts Festival.
